In 2011, I went to Uganda with a group of youth leaders in my Church to help out in orphanages and teach art in primary and secondary schools. Along with Christ Church Rathgar, we fundraised enough money to bring over supplies and sports equipment for their schools as well as cattle and goats for some of the families from the organisations. We first visited orphanages around where we were staying in Uganda and for the following two weeks we travelled in a bus to different schools around Uganda.
