Photography

I have always had an interest in photography and enjoy it's immediate process for capturing moments and

ideas. This love was passed on by both of my parents who allowed us play around with their digital and film cameras that we brought everywhere! My secondary school gave us after school photography lessons and taught me how to process film in the dark room in the school and become familiar with photoshop.

I think photography is a great medium to teacher learners due to it's fast results at capturing the world

around them and allows them to appreciate their environment. Photography encourages learners

to realise the beauty in the simplest things around them and become aware of their surroundings.

The photographs below are samples from different bodies of work I have taken, usually capturing human experiences and their surroundings.
