As part of the PME programme in NCAD, we take part in a module called, 'peer teaching'. Essentially we take something that we are strong at and teach it to the rest of our cohort so that we can then implement what we have learned into our own art rooms. As I am interested in batik and have experience teaching it, the class asked if I would teach them as some were unfamiliar. I taught the class how to create a batik which was challenging to complete in 3 hours. However, they all achieved their learning outcomes and enjoyed the process! I will include images from my day teaching the class below, followed by photos from   the other peer teaching workshops and information on what I learned.
